Farmers
Farmer training and capacity building
Season-long instruction for smallholders in agronomy, input use, post-harvest handling and farm records, with follow-up visits through the growing cycle.
Six programme areas, one for each objective in our constitution. The Empowerment Programme is running; the rest are in design and open to partnership.
Farmers
Season-long instruction for smallholders in agronomy, input use, post-harvest handling and farm records, with follow-up visits through the growing cycle.
Households
Direct support for households and marginalised groups, identified with local leaders rather than from a distance.
Climate
Soil health, water discipline, drought-tolerant varieties and planting calendars adjusted to a rainy season that no longer arrives on schedule.
Markets
Aggregation, storage and buyer linkage for cassava, maize and vegetable growers, so smallholders are not forced to sell at the farm gate on the worst day of the year.
Policy
Representing smallholders, women farmers and rural workers to state agencies and development partners in Oyo State and nationally.
